MATERIALS
• Yarn: Any fingering weight yarn you can meet gauge with. Animal fibers are great for a cozy cowl best suited for the cold season. For best results, use two highly contrasting solid or semi-solid colors. Avoid variegated yarns.
• Shown in: Feisty Fibres Rockin Sox (80% SW merino, 20% nylon, 420 yds / 384 m per 115 g skein) in “Vibes” as MC and Scheepjes Unity, previously Our Tribe (70% SW merino, 30% polyamide, 495 yds / 420 m per 100 g ball) in “Theresa” as CC.
• Hooks: 3.5 mm (main gauge) hk, 3.0 mm (ribbing) hk, or sizes needed to obtain gauge. I’m a tight crocheter, so you may have to go down in hook sizes.
• Notions: Scissors, darning needle, stitch marker.
